Build Wealth Collecting Pure Silver Coins

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off

Building wealth in silver coin collecting is extremely beneficial to many people in a struggling worldwide economy. The price of silver on the stock market has continued to rise despite the tremendous downfall of other markets in the stock trading business.

Silver coins are one of the oldest forms of mass produced form of coinage since the existence of coin currency. It has been used since the time of the ancient Greeks for the exchange of currency for goods and services.

Silver is used in coins because of its low melting temperature and the strength they retain when pressed in to coinage. They have a high value to weight ratio making them valuable in almost any market in any country and culture. They are fungible, meaning that they retain the same value in the same size or weight. Silver will be worth the same value as long as they are the same weight.

The American Silver Eagle coin has been branded the official silver bullion coin in America since the first one was produced in 1986. They are only produced in one troy-ounce in size giving the coin a circulating equivalent of one US dollar. They are affirmed to accommodate one troy once and are made up of 99% silver.

The coin’s obverse design was derived from the “Walking Liberty” design, one of many coin designs by Adolf A. Weinman. It was originally adapted for use on the silver half-dollar. It is one of the most well-known and beloved coins in American currency displaying the image of Lady Liberty walking and displays the text “LIBERTY” and “In God We Trust.”

The opposite side of the coin features the heraldic eagle with a shield on its chest. In the eagle’s left talon, he is holding a bundle of arrows and in the eagle’s right talon, he his holding an olive branch. Atop the eagle are 13 5-pointed stars which represent the original 13 American colonies. This is a 1986 design by John Mercanti.

In addition to the bullion version of the Silver Eagle coins, there are several proof versions that were produced for the specific sale to collectors. These coins have a value in currency, however they are not circulated.

Purchasing silver coins for resale has never been a better idea in a struggling American economy. There are thousands of coin collectors who are willing to pay top dollar for their hobby of coin collecting.

Here’s how to build your wealth as a silver coin dealer.

Gold, Silver, Banks and the SEC

Amazingly, today the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) – charged Goldman Sachs Group Inc with fraud in the structuring and marketing of a debt product tied to subprime mortgages.

This is an incredible turn of events. The lawsuit represents a dramatic expansion of regulatory efforts to hold people and companies responsible for activity that contributed to the nation’s financial crises.

I’ve been reading The Conspiracy of the Rich by Robert Kiyosaki and he goes into the various ways in which the banks (and it has to be said governments – of both parties) contributed to the historic and present depressions.

Now before I depress you – let me say “Rich Dad’s” Mr. Kiyosaki also goes into great detail about how to prepare for what he describes as a “German style depression”. His solution?

Accumulate gold coins and silver coins and other inflation adjusted investments”.

My solution? Accumulate gold coins and silver coins!

My recommendations are:

Conspiracy of the Rich…

Posted by: | Comments (0)

I’m reading Robert Kiyosaki’s new book “Rich Dad’s Conspiracy of the Rich – The 8 New Rules of Money”.

Right from the first word of the the introduction as to why he wrote this book, Robert Kiyosaki notes the time in 1971 when Richard Nixon took the U.S. dollar off the gold standard. He goes on to talk about how the rich control the world economy via the banks, governments and the financial markets.

I’ll report more as I go through the book and talk about what you and I can do with our money to beat the conspirators who take your money. Robert Kiyosaki says “Business and investing are team sports”. I agree.
